The First Grade Students in Room 16 had a ball last week harvesting our garden!
On Thursday, each student received a chance to find and pick vegetables from our garden. Some of the yummy veggies we found included carrots, potatoes, broccoli and tomatoes. The aroma from the pickings lasted the whole day!
On Friday, it was time to eat! A Mom made us some delicious sauce using every vegetable from the garden. We spread the sauce on english muffins and added some cheese. It turned out to be delicious pizza! We also enjoyed a yummy salad using the rest of the veggies.
While the food was cooking, we made veggie monsters!
