The first grade class practiced letter writing by sending letters to Walt Disney World. We each wrote to our favorite characters and sent them off hoping to hear back. It was a fun activity for us and we were hopeful that they would return our letters.
Well, guess what! They wrote us back within two weeks! The class was beyond excited when we received the envelope from Florida. Mickey Mouse himself wrote a letter to this class! He also wrote out each of our names on postcards. What a special day it was to receive these!

OH MY GOODNESS FIRST GRADERS!!! This is the coolest thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you all! I wish I got to be a part of this. I bet you all were just so incredibly excited to get those letters and I am sure the Disney characters were pumped to get yours! SUPER COOL!
